Educational policy in benefit of the quality of higher education? Case analysis

This article analyzes the discourse of a Mexican public university and its actions around the educational quality since the educational policies of the country. The objective is to evaluate, from the phenomenological approach, the meaning of the quality and the decisions that this causes to the case under study, taking as input a sequence of events. The findings show that the context and the characteristics of the actors, although they influence the forms of relation between them, do not provoke significant differences to reach the results of the quality indicators in force for Mexican universities.
