Objective: To present a bibliometric analysis of scientific output on life projects indexed in Scopus, mapping knowledge production in the period from 2019 to September 2024. Methods: The analysis was based on a quantitative approach, selecting 416 documents that met the defined parameters from a total of 725 records. The data were processed using Microsoft Excel and RStudio software. Results: Studies on life projects were most common in the educational and medical fields. Various indicators were addressed, such as: countries, author productivity, relevant sources, notable years, keywords, most cited documents, keyword co-occurrence network, density map, and factorial analysis. The United States, the United Kingdom and Spain were the most represented countries, the journal "Sustainability" was the most relevant publication, there was a notable increase in articles published in 2022 and 2023, and quality of life was the most frequent topic within the analysis of the life project category. Conclusions: Young people's life projects can be aligned with the principles of sustainable development, promoting an approach that considers the social, economic and environmental well-being of society.
