Abstract

The objective of this research is to report the incidence of virtual mathematics tutoring in high school in relation to the average grade, it has a qualitative approach, it is descriptive with a non-experimental design and non-census sampling. The COVID 19 pandemic had consequences at the educational level, as they did not have all the necessary means to access their classes virtually or be familiar with that modality, causing knowledge gaps, especially in subjects of practical application such as mathematics. It was determined that there was a positive impact on grade averages, evidencing their increase. It is concluded that it is crucial to identify subjects that require support and, through the introduction of virtual tutoring, guide students in their learning process, especially in practical subjects to improve academic performance.
