Methodological Strategies to Develop Creativity in the Subject of Social Studies in Upper Basic Education

This article examines the challenges in fostering creativity in the social studies classroom in upper basic education. Survey results show a significant lack of creative opportunities, with many students reporting a lack of autonomy in completing assignments and a scarcity of activities that encourage creativity. These findings underscore the need to integrate more technology and interactive projects, as well as to enhance student participation in course design, to improve creativity in the classroom.
