Information and communication technology-based university educational management for blended-learning programs

The objective of the present article is to socialize the results of a diagnostic study carried out with executives, professors and students in the blended learning modality at the Babahoyo extension of the Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes (UNIANDES) in relation with the student formation processes. Consequently, evidence was produced indicating that their actions call for an improvement from the perspective of university educational management. Therefore, the present one is an explanatory research, based on a mixed research paradigm, thus combining quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis. These allowed for a characterization and transformation of the university educational management practices in the blended learning modality of studies at the Babahoyo extension of UNIANDES.
