Abstract

The labor fluctuation of the university teacher is inherent to occupational mobility, articulated as a single process in which entrances and exits to the educational institution are distinguished. From this angle the accumulation and generation of innovative and critical knowledge that every institution requires to carry out its processes in and for development with a human face is revealed. This article is the result of a doctoral research in education sciences that addresses in the first of its three moments: conception, diagnosis and methodological proposal. The objective is to address some of the elements that support a conception from the sociological determinations for the analysis of labor fluctuation as a component of professional development.
