In José Martí’s scientific culture the study of the new scientific ideas occupied a primordial place. This article intends to argue the martians reflections in connection with the man’s origin that they demonstrate the presence in its work of a narrow relationship among science, culture and universality. The analytic-synthetic of the gathered information was among the used methods and the one registered of fragments of their work related with the topic. On this base he was carried out the study of the martians approaches in connection with the man’s origin, in their relationship with that outlined for you Charles Darwin, that which allowed to complete the proposed objective. It is revealed, therefore, the originality of the ideas defended by José Martí in connection with the man’s origin, that which reveals the universality of their thought.
