Abstract

According with Ana Barbosa for PRELAC: “we cannot understand the cultura of a country without knowing its art. Art is a language that models the senses and transmit meanings that no other language—scientific or discursive—can communicate.” (Perspectivas: La reconstrucción social a través del arte, 2002, p. 100) One of the purposes of UANL is to favor the generating of knowledge out of the casting of art and culture in society. Because of this, the Music faculty in collaboration with Scenic Arts Faculty and Visuals Faculty, is carrying out a proyect of social linkage to allow the human development using research and musical production to maximize the impact  on artistic learning. The research used logical and historical methods combined with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Our project influenced greatly in the comprehensive formation of the professional that society is demanding from the different areas of bachelor in music. It also collaborated in the formation of a sensitive attitude of expectators and participants towards a qualitative and transcendent artistic manifestation, for the benefit of casting the Mexican and universal musical culture, together with other artistic disciplines as music, dancing, sculpture, painting and drama, by watching and listening to a live show aimed for children. It includes several works traditionally performed only by orchestra, but presented as a symphonic short story, in an innovative proposal.
