Professional performance and environmental education emerge as objects of study of different investigations, their sustainability and quality depend on the common objectives between society and educational systems, a controversial issue today that demands studies and results that manage to meet one of the strategic objectives of the 2030 Agenda. The objective of this article is to present the results of the diagnosis on the environmental pedagogical professional performance of pre-university Geography teachers for the integrated management of hydrographic basins, in two pre-university institutes of the Matanzas municipality. As research methods, the review of documents, the interview, the survey and the observation were applied. As a result, the definition of the main variable was obtained: the environmental pedagogical professional performance of the pre-university Geography teachers in the integrated management of hydrographic basins and in the application of the instruments, the achievements and difficulties by dimensions in an integrated manner.
