PROBLEMS DEALING WITH THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CULTURE AND EDUCATION IN LATIN AMERICA

Abstract

The complex relationship between culture and education in Latin America is treated. This fruitful relationship is signed by the crossbreeding condition of the culture, its essence and originality in this continent. The influx of nature and humanism, also constitute important conditionings in the topic object of study. It is sustained that these factors should be taken into account for the forward study of education in its development in these lands. José Martí’s thought is used in a very consistent way as a directive guide for the comprehension of culture, education and its peculiar relationships in our America.
