Diagnosis of the methodological training on sexuality and its educational orientation with a gender approach

The article addresses the result of the diagnosis of the methodological preparation of the teaching staff of the General Pedagogical Training discipline for teaching content on sexuality and its orientation with a gender perspective. Scientific methods of the theoretical, empirical level and mathematical procedures are used. The main results are related to difficulties in scientific, professional and pedagogical knowledge in aspects of a cognitive and procedural nature that prevent updating on sexual issues and their orientation from the contents of their subject; as well as professional skills at an academic and practical level to direct the teaching-learning process.
