Abstract

The objective is to show an experience in modeling and solving geometric problems through the use of GeoGebra software in the training of pilots of the Angolan National Air Force. Different methods were used, such as document analysis, surveys, interviews and pedagogical tests, to diagnose the most frequent problems at the National Air Force of Angola, which manifest themselves at the basis of the profession, and the modeling method in formulating the problems. The results consist of the development of a procedure for determining the invariants of geometric knowledge that contribute to the solution of professional problems of the Aviator Pilot, as well as the presentation of two problems solved using the aforementioned software. It can be concluded that its use is very advantageous in the teaching-learning process of Analytical Geometry, based on problem solving.
