Abstract

Currently, the system of education of Mexico works by an approach based on competences, which aims to the formation of integral students, who develop their cognitive, affective and attitudinal potential. While developing a study in an Audiovisual High school, the essential information shows that students basically hate math, as they consider it boring and difficult. For this reason, the main objective of this article is to present the significant results of the implementation of the educational intervention project "The cooperative work supported by recreational activities for the learning of mathematics” as a motivating and comprehensive learning strategy for students of that institution.
