Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) as an innovative teaching tool for Chemistry contributes to the formation of specific skills of the specialty as well as to prepare competent professionals in new technologies. The present work presents the results of the application of the RA as a teaching tool in two courses from different years of Chemistry studies on the Universidad de Oriente, Inorganic Chemistry II and Material’s Chemistry, using a survey as a validation tool. The three-dimensional models used was obtained using databases, theoretical calculation programs or were created in a three-dimensional design program.
