Abstract

This work analyzes the opinions of students regarding the evaluation process of teaching performance. A study was carried out under the qualitative approach, analyzing the responses of 204 students belonging to the two degrees offered by the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala: Educational Sciences and Educational Communication and Innovation. On the one hand, the students consider that attention should be paid to the evaluation instruments, the results report and the moments of the evaluation. On the other hand, regarding the purpose of the evaluation, the students think that it should be done for the purpose of improvement, to observe the level of competences, to provide feedback and to update the teaching practice, that is, under training modalities.
