Abstract

The experiments carried out for two decades in the search for alternatives to stimulate higher levels of learning from a teaching concept that puts the approach and problem solving as the primary means, is synthesized in the theoretical and practical problem-exercise-based teaching, which has been constructed and validated in basic secondary education and extends to initial teacher training. The principles underlying the teaching concept, shown from the description of experiences allow us to understand their potential to promote learning.
