Abstract

This study explores the integration of reference managers and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimize scientific information management. The objective is to demonstrate how this integration enhances efficiency in searching, organizing, and analyzing of scientific data. The methodology includes a systematic review of the literature in academic databases, the use of reference managers such as Zotero to organize references, and the evaluation of AI tools like ResearchRabbit and Inciteful, supplemented by surveys of researchers. The results show that Zotero facilitates the retrieval and organization of references, and its integration with AI tools like ResearchRabbit and Inciteful improves the search and analysis of scientific literature. Survey respondents highlight the accessibility of free digital tools and the utility of AI in research. In conclusion, the integration of reference managers and AI tools not only optimizes reference management and avoids citation errors but also enhances the capacity for analysis and collaboration in scientific research. This underscores AI as an essential tool in the current academic environment.
