Education and Technology: A look from underdevelopment

The essay discusses the theme of the introduction of ICT in culture, education and contemporary school. The objective is to propitiate the taking of position and the argumentation from the sciences of the education of the use of these tools in the direction of the educational process in the school and especially in the teaching - learning process. In the analysis of the subject, knowledge of different branches of knowledge is integrated in correspondence with the state of development of these tools in the contemporary world. Some guidelines are proposed for the reflection from the school, the argumented position taking that should anticipate the reflexive and profound action of teachers and professors in the school before the employment of this promising resource.
