About the Journal

The Atenas Magazine belongs to the Faculty of Education of the University of Matanzas, Cuba.

Founded in 1997, it adopted the appearance convergent with the current personality in 2003. It migrated its contents to OJS in 2012. On January 5, 2023, it adopted the continuous publication policy, consistent with the philosophy of Open Science. Atenas maintains its interest in disseminating the most outstanding results of research in the field of education and the initial and continuous training of teachers, essentially.
